The Truck Operators and Transporters Association of Madhya Pradesh has expressed its gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for his decision to abolish the check post system of the transport department in the border districts of the state. Truck owners and transporters have long been demanding the closure of these check posts.
The truck owners, led by Indore Region 3 MLA Mr. Golu Shukla and Rau MLA Mr. Madhu Verma, met with the Chief Minister to convey their thanks. They appreciated the Chief Minister for implementing a check point system similar to the one used in Gujarat, and extended their thanks to Dr. Yadav for this significant change.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that this decision aligns with Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's commitment to good governance. He noted that this move will enhance the revenue of the transport department. The officials of the Truck Operators and Transporters Association acknowledged that this decision was long-awaited and termed it as historic. They mentioned that this will bring great relief and happiness to both drivers and vehicle owners. The change is expected to improve the ease of movement within the state and increase revenue while ultimately reducing transportation costs, benefiting the general public.
