The Congress Party's state president in Madhya Pradesh, Shri Jitu Patwari, is so eager to create a ruckus against the government that they can't even raise issues properly. Sometimes someone tells them that "the crow took the ear," and without fact-checking, they start chasing the crow. The same thing happened today. They are trying to make an issue out of a letter that is beneficial for Madhya Pradesh's development. They are misleading the farmers, even though it will have no impact on the farmers' interests.
Jitu Patwari Ji, You Should Have Checked the Date of the Chief Minister's Letter
Today is November 3, 2025. Congress Party's state president Shri Jitu Patwari has gone viral with a letter written by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to the Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Shri Prahlad Joshi, dated September 24, 2025. In this letter, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has informed about the problems in payments to farmers and sought help from the central government. This is a letter written in the interest of the farmers, but 41 days after the letter was written, Shri Jitu Patwari is telling the farmers that if the center helps the Madhya Pradesh government, the farmers will be ruined.
The question is:
- 41 days after the letter, when the system is running smoothly, what is the need to spread such confusion?
- If the central government helps the Madhya Pradesh government, what problem does Shri Jitu Patwari have with that?
- Can Shri Jitu Patwari certify that the Chief Minister has refused to purchase wheat and paddy in the letter?
- Does Shri Jitu Patwari consider the farmers of Madhya Pradesh illiterate? While attaching the letter, he writes that "the government has washed its hands off government procurement of wheat/paddy." But there is not a single direct or indirect word written in the letter about this.
What is the Conclusion of the Chief Minister's Letter?
This is a normal procedure that all states in Madhya Pradesh often follow during correspondence with the central government. The amount received from the central government for payments to farmers has been stuck for a long time due to 25% of the system glitches. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has written the letter requesting to fix the system. By doing so, the Madhya Pradesh government will receive thousands of crores of rupees to make payments to farmers. Farmers will get timely payment for their crops, without any delay. The government will be able to repay a loan of 72,000 crore rupees. It won't have to pay interest, and that amount can be used for development works.
What is Jitu Patwari's Problem?
In fact, Shri Jitu Patwari has assumed that due to the old age of Shri Kamal Nath and Shri Digvijay Singh, and after Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia leaving the party, he is the sole CM candidate for the Congress Party. If the state government develops, welfare schemes continue to operate, Ladli Behens keep getting payments every month, and increments happen every year, then the Congress Party's government won't be formed in Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, he always raises such issues that create obstacles in the government's functioning. Because if the government doesn't malfunction, the public won't be angry, and if the public isn't angry, who will vote for them?
✔ During the Global Investor Summit, he had planned a ruckus in the name of exams, but Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi foiled the entire Congress conspiracy by changing his departure time.
✔ In the matter of 27% OBC reservation, he is continuously creating hurdles. Because if the government gives 27% reservation to the backward classes, the Supreme Court cases are resolved, then the opportunity to incite OBCs will slip away. 51% OBC votes will slip away, on the strength of which Shri Jitu Patwari considers himself the next Chief Minister.
Madhya Pradesh's Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Shri Govind Rajput, has said in very clear words—not just posted on social media but written on letterhead—that there will be no difference to farmers in the procurement of wheat or paddy. From registration to purchase, everything will happen exactly as it does. The only difference will be that the delay in farmers' payments will not occur.
Before Believing Jitu Patwari's Words, Know This for Sure
Shri Jitu Patwari contests elections from the Rau Assembly seat in Indore district. Even when there was a BJP wave in Madhya Pradesh, Shri Jitu Patwari won from his assembly because in the assembly, he presented himself not as a Congress Party leader, not as a worker following the party's ideology, but as an independent candidate separate from the party. "The party went to fetch oil" is remembered by everyone. Then what was the reason that in the 2023 assembly elections, when there was a strong atmosphere against the Shivraj government in Madhya Pradesh, Shri Jitu Patwari lost the election? The margin of loss-win was not small; it was more than 35,000 votes.
This happened because after winning in 2013 and 2018, the people of Rau Assembly realized that Shri Jitu Patwari is just a REEL leader. He stays active on social media but doesn't work on the ground. To go viral on social media, he barges into anyone's house anytime. But he never opens the door of his luxurious bungalow for the public. There is a decisive number of farmers in Rau Assembly. In 2019, when the Congress government was formed, farmers hoped that Jitu Patwari would solve their problems, but Shri Jitu Patwari didn't even talk about the problems.
Just as Shri Jitu Patwari didn't pay attention to the farmers in 2019, the farmers didn't pay attention to Shri Jitu Patwari in 2023. The result: the handsome candidate riding a bicycle in tracksuit on social media lost the election by more than 35,000 votes.
Farmers know that a leader who couldn't solve the problems of farmers in his own assembly during his own government will never allow the problems of Madhya Pradesh's farmers to be solved.
