The directive for virtual work was issued during a high-profile performance review marathon held on May 17, where Dr. Yadav conducted intensive one-to-one discussions with 20 ministers. The Chief Minister took a comprehensive "account" of departmental progress, specifically focusing on:
- The fulfillment of election promises made to the public.
- The ground-level impact of policies in schools, health centers, and Anganwadis within assigned districts.
- The overall achievements and efficiency of various departments.

Additionally, he has summoned the heads of various state corporations (Nigam Mandals) for a specialized training session focused on maintaining an ideal public conduct and balancing administrative power with dedicated public service.
