MPPSC Releases Revised 2026 Exam Calendar; Dates for State Service Main Exam and Assistant Professor Recalibrated

Indore, May 15, 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has officially released its Proposed (Revised) Examination Calendar for the year 2026. This updated schedule provides a comprehensive roadmap for various state-level recruitment exams while highlighting critical adjustments necessitated by ongoing legal proceedings.

Legal Impact on Major Examinations According to the sources, the State Service Main Examination-2025, which was originally proposed for June 9, 2025, will now be conducted only after the orders of the Honorable High Court. Furthermore, recruitment examinations for Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, and Unani Medical Officers (2025) have been officially stayed by the High Court. 

Recently Completed Examinations The calendar notes that several major examinations were successfully conducted earlier this year as per their scheduled dates:

• Assistant Professor (Computer Science) Exam-2025 (I): January 04, 2026.
• State Eligibility Test (SET)-2025: March 01, 2026.
• State Service and State Forest Service Preliminary Exam-2026: April 26, 2026.

• State Service Main Examination-2026: September 07 to September 12, 2026.
• Assistant Town Planner Exam-2026: September 20, 2026.
• State Forest Service Main Examination-2026: September 27, 2026.
