–  byteXL, a leading edtech platform focused on transforming engineering education in India, has secured $5.9 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Kalaari Capital, a prominent venture capital firm, with participation from the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.

This investment fuels byteXL's mission to provide high-quality and affordable tech skills to engineering students, particularly in tier II and tier III cities across India. The company's impressive growth over the past four years is a testament to its effectiveness in bridging the gap between academia and industry demands.

The funding will be used to expand byteXL's team, develop new products, introduce advanced digital learning tools, and reach more colleges and universities nationwide. byteXL has already partnered with over 26 institutions, training over one lakh students in various software technologies like programming, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. These efforts have resulted in increased student intake and improved placement rates for their partner institutions.
