The Incident On Wednesday, April 15, Mr. Tyagi, a resident of Amaltas Colony, Shahpura, arrived for his daily swim, a routine he had maintained for the last 20 years. Despite being an expert and swimming in only 4 feet of water, he was seen suddenly drownin. Trainers at the facility attempted immediate rescue and first aid before rushing him to the hospital, where he was declared dead. His daughter, Rashi Tyagi, is also a recognized swimmer representing Bhopal.

The exact cause of death remains unclear, leading to three primary theories:
Accidental Drowning: Experts suggest that long-term swimmers can sometimes become negligent, leading to water entering vital parts of the body, which can be fatal.
Silent Heart Attack: This is a common medical suspicion in such sudden cases, and authorities are awaiting the post-mortem report for confirmation.
Conspiracy or Foul Play: Given Mr. Tyagi's status as a wealthy trader, the possibility of a calculated murder has not been ruled out. Theories include the administration of a substance or an injection causing a sudden spike in blood pressure and heart rate. The tragedy has highlighted significant issues at the Prakash Taran Pushkar swimming pool. With over 3,000 registered users, the facility is operating far beyond its capacity. Users have complained about the lack of emergency stretchers and proper first-aid kits, arguing that a facility of this scale should ideally have a dedicated clinic.
