MP Secretariat: Manish Singh Assigned Charge of All Departments Earlier Held by P. Narhari

Bhopal, May 03, 2026: Following the approval of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Shri Anurag Jain, Principal Secretary to the Government of Madhya Pradesh, has assigned IAS officer Shri Manish Singh the charge of all departments previously held by Shri P. Narhari (IAS 2001). This means that Shri Manish Singh will now oversee the work of all departments formerly managed by Shri Narhari.

According to an order from the General Administration Department dated April 29, 2026, Shri P. Narhari, who served as the Principal Secretary of the Public Health Engineering Department, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Land Resources, Government of India, New Delhi. This appointment is for a period of five years. Consequently, Shri Narhari’s services have been handed over to the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, New Delhi.

As a result of Shri P. Narhari’s relief from his duties, Shri Manish Singh (IAS 1997)—who is currently the Principal Secretary of the Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department, as well as the Principal Secretary of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department (Additional Charge)—has been given the additional temporary charge of the Public Health Engineering Department until further orders.
