Indore, December 08, 2025: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is gearing up to release the official notification for the State Service Examination 2026 and Forest Service Examination 2026 by the end of December 2025, confirmed OSD Dr. Ravindra Panchbhai. This comes amid intense pressure from candidates to substantially increase the number of vacancies.
For the first time, the post of Principal System Analyst (PSC) will be included in both State and Forest Service examinations to attract more applicants. Candidates have been demanding at least 700 posts this year, with many stating that anything below 500 would be unacceptable. In the last three years, only 497 posts were advertised (229 in 2023, 110 in 2024, and 158 in 2025), despite consistent demands for over 500 posts annually.
Multiple Exam Notifications in January-February 2026
Along with the State & Forest Service exams, MPPSC will release notifications for 7–8 other major examinations in January and February 2026. Notifications for Assistant Professor, State Engineering Service, Assistant District Prosecution Officer (ADPO), Food & Seed Safety Officer, Dental Surgeon, and several smaller recruitments are nearly ready. Some may be released in the last week of December itself.
Massive Interview Schedule for Over 3,700 Vacant Posts
The commission is preparing a detailed interview calendar in December for 14 pending examinations, which will begin in January 2026. The biggest challenge before MPPSC is to fill more than 3,700 posts, including:
- Medical Officer: 1,849 posts
- Assistant Professor: 1,918 posts
Interviews for Medical Officers are expected to start in January and may continue for up to two months. Assistant Professor interviews (approximately 400 posts in the first phase) will follow, along with Food & Seed Safety Officer (67 posts) and other examinations in batches.
Dr. Ravindra Panchbhai stated that the commission is working on a systematic plan to conduct interviews without affecting the schedule of upcoming written examinations. “Our priority is to complete pending recruitments swiftly while ensuring new examinations are conducted on time,” he added.
With over 20 examinations planned for 2026, MPPSC is set for one of its busiest recruitment cycles in recent years, bringing hope to thousands of aspirants awaiting government jobs in Madhya Pradesh.
